Its been a while since I have had a play with alcohol inks, so when I brought this gorgeous stamp from Stamp It, I thought it would look great done with an inked background.

Here is what I came up with:

I have used 4 colours in the alcohol inks Purple Twilight, Willow, Pink sherbert and Juniper onto the felt applicator and pounced it on to glossy white cardstock. Then I have inked the stamp in black ink , stamped the image onto the  background and have clear embossed and heat set the image with my heat gun. Such a simple technique with a great effect to the finished project.

Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! – Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum. White Glossy Cardstock. Inks: Stampin’ Up! – Basic Black, Versa Mark. Alcohol Inks: Juniper, Purple Twilight, Willow and Pink Sherbert. Stamps: Stamp It – Whirl Collage and Stampin’ Up! – All a Flutter. Other: Felt Applicator, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun and Ribbon – Satin Purple.
