So here is a photo tutorial. For this Pocket Card I have chosen A Christmas theme using the Season of Joy Stamp set and the Holiday Harmony Designer Series Paper, Cardstock-Always Artichoke, Purely Pomegranate and River Rock.</p>

<div style="text-align: justify;">One 8¼&#8221; x 5¾&#8221;  Piece of Cardstock, for card</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">One 5&#8243; x 3 1/8&#8243; Piece of Cardstock, for insert</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">One 5¾&#8221; x 2&#8243; Piece of Cardstock, for front of card</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">One 5½&#8221; x 3½&#8221; Piece of Pattern Paper for Inside card</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">One 5¾&#8221; x 1½&#8221; Strip of Pattern Paper for front of card</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Ribbon</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Stamp-a-ma-jig</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Scallop Punch</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">1 3/8&#8243; Circle Punch</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Stamp Set of your Choice</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Snail adhesive</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Bone Folder</div>
</li>
<li>
<div style="text-align: justify;">Ink Pads</div>
</li>
</ul>
<p><strong> Step by Step</strong></p>
<p>Step 1: Score 3½&#8221; in from the bottom of the card and fold with the Bone Folder.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-3.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-209" title="pocket-card-tutorial-3" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-3.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="281" /></a></p>
<p>Step 2: Open card out and attach Piece of Pattern paper 5½&#8221; x 3½&#8221; to the inside top of the card.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-4.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-210" title="pocket-card-tutorial-4" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-4.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="423" /></a></p>
<p>Step 3: Take the piece of cardstock that is 5¾&#8221; x 2&#8243; ( I have punched scallops on this piece of cardstock with the corner rounder) and then attach with the snail adhesive the Pattern Piece of Paper (5¾&#8221; x 1½&#8221;) to the cardstock.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-10.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-211" title="pocket-card-tutorial-10" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-10.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="168" /></a></p>
<p>I have also added a tiny strip of coordinating colour onto the top of the pattern paper.</p>
<p>Step 4: Attach ribbon to card and tie a bow.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-9.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-212" title="pocket-card-tutorial-9" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-9.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="267" /></a></p>
<p>Step 5: Using your Stamp-a-ma-jig and taking a small stamp from the set you have chosen, stamp images along onto the outside card that has been folded until you have a row to the end of the card.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-6.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-213" title="pocket-card-tutorial-6" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-6.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="285" /></a></p>
<p>Step 6: Using the 1 3/8&#8243; Circle punch, Punch half a circle about 1½&#8221; in from the right hand side of the card. ( This is where the Scalloped insert will sit).</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-8.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-214" title="pocket-card-tutorial-8" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-8.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="331" /></a></p>
<p>Step 7: Adhere the Scalloped edge decorated piece to the front of the folded piece of card about ½&#8221; from the bottom.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-112.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-216" title="pocket-card-tutorial-112" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-112.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="321" /></a></p>
<p>Step 8: Take the piece of cardstock that is cut at 5&#8243; x 3 1/8&#8243;, you can corner round this piece if you like, this is the card insert piece. Then using the stamp you have chosen, Stamp image on to chosen cardstock and cut out with the 1 3/8&#8243; Circle Punch then in a different colour punch out a scallop, with scallop punch and adhere stamped image to it. Your card stock and stamped image will look like this:</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-121.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-217" title="pocket-card-tutorial-121" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-121.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="370" /></a></p>
<p>Step 9: Take your insert card piece and line it up inside the pocket card, then take your scallop piece and line it up with the half circle cut. Add some snail where the cardstock is showing through the circle cut and adhere the scallop. Once you pull it out the scallop should be attached to the inside piece.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-14.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-218" title="pocket-card-tutorial-14" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-14.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="319" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-15.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-219" title="pocket-card-tutorial-15" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-15.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="327" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-111.jpg"></a></p>
<p>Step10: To finish of card add some adhesive to each side of the inside card to close pocket. (Make sure your insert piece will fit in once it&#8217;s stuck down). You can also stamp some words on the insert card piece in the theme you have chosen. Here is the finished card.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-16.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-220" title="pocket-card-tutorial-16" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-16.jpg" alt="" width="450" height="360" /></a></p>
<p><a href="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-17.jpg"  rel="lightbox-205"><img  class="alignnone size-full wp-image-221" title="pocket-card-tutorial-17" src="http://www.thestampingstudio.com.au/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/pocket-card-tutorial-17.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="287" /></a></p>
