Stamping Projects

Hi there,

We are having some unbelievable weather here in Perth, Western Australia a big storm hit early hours of the morning causing damage all over the city to peoples homes. I thank God we haven’t had much damage to our property. With all this stormy weather about  and having to stay indoors gives one a good excuse to do some stamping.  This card I have made is for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge .

Here is the sketch:

I don’t actually make many tall cards, but I had this gorgeous stamp from C C Designs Apple Emma and Sassafraslass Pattern Paper layed out on my desk to make a card and I thought this sketch was a perfect match for them.

So here is my card:

Hi There,

When I saw this weeks Inkspirations colour challenge  made me start thinking of a scrap page I had completed in these very colours:

Here is my scrapbook page:

I changed this colour photo of my niece into black & white and I have used chalks to colour the strawberry and the strap of her top. I had never tried this technique before so I was happy with the way it came out.

Scrapbook Supplies:

Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! - 12×12 Real Red, Whisper White and Old Olive. Pattern Paper: DSP – Summer Picnic. Stamp Set: Tart & Tangy. Ink: Stampin’ Write Markers: Real Red  and Old Olive. Other: Scallop Punch, 1¼ Circle Punch, Stampin’ Pastels and Chipboard Letters.

Hi there,

Happy Sunday!

Hope everyone is enjoying there weekend, here in Perth its a gorgeous sunny day.

Today me and my family are off to celebrate my Father-inlaws 65th birthday, so I thought I would quickly share a few cards I have made lately before we head out for the day.

This first card I made was for one of the Inkspirations colour challenges that I ran out of time and ended up not submitting it.

The next card is some of the left over cardstock and paper piece’s from the first card, which I thought would look great with this bunny stamp:

This next card I also made for an Inkspiration Sketch Challenge and again I was to late to submit it, Its a great sketch I can reuse alot.

This last card I have made for a good friend of mine and she loves ducks. I have used the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. which I have mirror imaged the sketch as I want the duck image to sit to the left of the card.

Hope you all have a great long weekend and Thanks for looking!!!

Hi Again,

Time again for another one of Makeesha’s challenge. This weeks challenge is a sketch. Hope you like what I have come up with this week.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my card:

With this card I have used the water misting technique onto the stamp once I inked it up to give this gorgeous water colour look.

The circle backing the stamped image is on doesn’t show up very well in this photo, the colour I have used is Stampin’ Up’s pumpkin pie to pick up the orange in the stamped image and I have used the night of navy marker to create the faux stitching around the edges of the circle.

Card Recipe:

Stamp It: Cling On Stamp – Foliage Flurry & Solid Butterfly. Penny Black Clear Stamp Words – For You. Kaleidacolor Ink – Royal Satin. Kaisercraft: Pearls. Fiskars: Scallop Punch. Stampin’ Up: Cardstock – Rose Red, Pumpkin Pie and Night of Navy. Ink: Night of Navy. Other: Gingham Ribbon

Thanks for looking!!!!

Hi there,

I decided after all the card making I have been doing it was time to do some scrapping. My husband is kind of a “Kombi” fanatic and he is the proud owner of two. So the page I have scrapped is of him in the first Kombi he purchased.

I often scrapbook in my head more so than I actually do physically so I sketched this page out first so I could remember what I wanted to do.

Heres the sketch:

Here is the finished page:

Design - Cindy Banks

I have used a bunch of different stamps and pattern papers and the sizzix die Frame to embelish. I ended up framing the page for him to hang on the wall in his office, he loved it!

Thanks for looking!

Till next time

Hi,

With the kids on school holidays and the weather being just to horrible to go outdoors, today I decided to have a play with the stamp set ”A Kind Word”. I love this set as it is very girly and gives me a chance to use some pretty papers and colours.

So here is the card I made using this set:

Hi again,

When I went over to keesh’s blog to see her challenge for this week I initially thought to myself I’m not going to do that one it’s too much of a challenge. But as I kept looking at the inspiration picture I couldn’t help myself and thought I will give it a go anyway.

So here is what I came up with:

Cindy Banks©

I recently bought this clear stamp “Hoo Hoo There!” from the Lily & Milo Collection by Rachelle Anne Miller and as I was dying to have a play with it, no better time than to use it, but in this challenge.

Recipe:

Cardstock: Whisper White, Rose Red, Apricot Appeal & Pretty in Pink. Ink: Chocolate chip, Close to Cocoa, Creamy Carmel, Rose Red, Apricot Appeal & Pretty in Pink. Blender Pen and Mat Pack. Pattern Paper: Basic Grey Collection – Two Scoops.

Looking forward to the next challenge.

Till next time

Cindy
