Stamping Projects

Hi there,

Today I am sharing a card that I have made using a past Mojo Monday Sketch. I really loved the Rustic Rooster stamp set from Stampin’ Up!, which sadly now has retired. I found this great background stamp “Hex Net” from Prima Marketing Inc and for this card I have used the masking technique.

Here is my card:

Card Supplies:

Stamp Set: Stampin’ Up! – Rustic Rooster, Prima Marketing – Hex Net. Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! – Basic Black, Really Rust and Whisper White. Pattern Paper: Papermania – Hampstead Collection. Ink: Stampin’ Up! – Sahara Sand and Mememto-Tuxedo Black. Other: Word Rubon’s and Black Ribbon.

Hi there,

I was really excited when I found out docrafts had bought out the Forever Friends range of stamps, papers etc… and was even more excited when I found them in my local scrapbooking store. I have loved the Forever Friends bears since I was a kid and even have a collection going, when my Mother in-law went to England she brought me back a paper towel roll that has the forever friends bear imprint on it. lol

This card I’m sharing today is one of the stamps I purchased of these cute little bears.

Card Supplies:

Ink:  Memento – Tuxedo Black. Pattern Paper: My Minds Eye and Basic Grey. Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! Chocolate Chip and Whisper White. Nestabilities – Large Classic Scallop Circle die. Fiskars Border Punch – Threading Water. Copic Markers. Kaisercraft Rubon words. Docrafts Papermania Adhesive Stones.

Hi there,

Its been a while since I have had a play with alcohol inks, so when I brought this gorgeous stamp from Stamp It, I thought it would look great done with an inked background.

Here is what I came up with:

I have used 4 colours in the alcohol inks Purple Twilight, Willow, Pink sherbert and Juniper onto the felt applicator and pounced it on to glossy white cardstock. Then I have inked the stamp in black ink , stamped the image onto the  background and have clear embossed and heat set the image with my heat gun. Such a simple technique with a great effect to the finished project.

Card Supplies:

Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! – Elegant Eggplant, Pale Plum. White Glossy Cardstock. Inks: Stampin’ Up! – Basic Black, Versa Mark. Alcohol Inks: Juniper, Purple Twilight, Willow and Pink Sherbert. Stamps: Stamp It – Whirl Collage and Stampin’ Up! – All a Flutter. Other: Felt Applicator, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun and Ribbon – Satin Purple.

Thanks for looking!!!!

Hi there,

Todays card is a technique from a tutorial video I watch from Jennifer McGuire called Pearlized Ink Blending, when I saw this technique I just could’nt wait to give it a try.

In the video Jennifer has used this technique on a scrapbooking page, (which looks so stunning).

I thought I would start by just trying it on a card. This is much inspired by her scrapbook page.

I’m lov’in the pearl sheen effect to the card. Unfortunately the sheen has’nt come up very well in this photo, but it does looks very sparkley. I’m really happy that this technique actually worked for me, usually when I try something for the first time on most occasions I normally stuff it up.

Anyway here is the link to the video if you would like to see how the pearlized Ink blending is done.

Card Supplies:

Cardstock: White. Ink: Distress Ink – bundled sage, spiced marmalade and worn lipstick. Stamp: Stamp It -Foliage Flurry. Other: Ribbon, Carl Punches - Butterfly, large and small. Rhinestones – Green. Versa Mark Dazzle stamp pad, white embossing powder, Heat gun and Perfect pearls mixed with some water in a mini mister bottle.

Hi there,

My husband is a bit of a VW Kombi fanatic and it has sort of rubbed on to me and the kids as every time we are out and about we kombi spot.  You wouldn’t think it but Kombi’s are quite popular in the papercrafting industry and I was amazed at how many stamps, pattern paper even chipboard I found with kombi’s on them.

This card involves a Kombi, I made this for my husbands birthday. So here it is:

He loved the card and he was also very happy with all the collectable Kombi’s he was given for his birthday to add to his collection.

Card Supplies:

Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! – Night of Navy. Ink: Night of Navy. Stamp: October Afternoon – Clear Stamps Road Map. October Afternoon Pattern Paper – Night Light. Other: Circle Cutters, Rubons words, Stampin’ Write Marker – Black, Punch – Fiskas Upper Crest.

Hi there,

We are having some unbelievable weather here in Perth, Western Australia a big storm hit early hours of the morning causing damage all over the city to peoples homes. I thank God we haven’t had much damage to our property. With all this stormy weather about  and having to stay indoors gives one a good excuse to do some stamping.  This card I have made is for this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge .

Here is the sketch:

I don’t actually make many tall cards, but I had this gorgeous stamp from C C Designs Apple Emma and Sassafraslass Pattern Paper layed out on my desk to make a card and I thought this sketch was a perfect match for them.

So here is my card:

Hi there,

Happy Sunday!

Hope everyone is enjoying there weekend, here in Perth its a gorgeous sunny day.

Today me and my family are off to celebrate my Father-inlaws 65th birthday, so I thought I would quickly share a few cards I have made lately before we head out for the day.

This first card I made was for one of the Inkspirations colour challenges that I ran out of time and ended up not submitting it.

The next card is some of the left over cardstock and paper piece’s from the first card, which I thought would look great with this bunny stamp:

This next card I also made for an Inkspiration Sketch Challenge and again I was to late to submit it, Its a great sketch I can reuse alot.

This last card I have made for a good friend of mine and she loves ducks. I have used the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. which I have mirror imaged the sketch as I want the duck image to sit to the left of the card.

Hope you all have a great long weekend and Thanks for looking!!!

Cindy xx
