Hi again,

The New Year began with sadness for our family, as my husbands dear Gran passed away on the 2nd. We farewelled her on Monday with a beautiful memorial service at the church she regularly attended. My sister-inlaw had asked me to help her put together a collage of photo’s of Gran’s life to display at the entrance of the church for her funeral.

We spent two days putting together this collage as we wanted to preserve the original photo’s I had to scan them all and change alot of them to black & white, get them printed and ready to assemble.

Here is the collage:

We are going to miss our sweet little Gran dearly, as she was such a kind, loving and generous lady who never complained about anything and was always so encourging.

Now after spending the time on the collage, it has given me some inspiration to get into some papercrafting again, just need to find some time now to fits some in.

Till next time

Hi there,

Just popped in to share what has been happening in my world. Sorry this is bit of a long post. Well it has been a couple of months now since I have been able to think of looking at my blog or at anyone else’s for a matter of fact, I have had to take on part time work, which has really limited me spending time on stamping and scrapbooking and taking on the responsibility of getting puppies when we already have 5 cats and 7 rabbits, has taken alot more of my time and to add to it we took on another puppy from the same litter which we named Henry.

Here are George, Henry and Rosie:

Henry is in the middle!

Christmas is very quiet for us, my family came in the afternoon for a visit and we don’t see Mark’s family at Christmas as they spend it away. We ended up spending most of the day in the pool as it was so hot. We also went to visit Mark’s sweet little Granny who has been layed up in hospital with a broken hip and is recoverying from surgery.

Here is a photo of her just about to have her lunch, this photo was taken on Marks mobile phone, stupid me didn’t take my camera.

Christmas night we were woken by gale force winds, I have never seen winds that strong here before and there was alot of loud noise’s outside. In the morning we woke to find our Hardy Fence had fallin over.

My eldest son Matthew graduated from Yr 7 Primary and is moving on to Yr 8  High School in 2011, so this is a big challenge for him as my husband Mark and I had to make the decision to send him to a school that we thought would be best suited for him and on the down side with that is none of his friends are attending this school and he is going in knowing nobody, a little stress for me but I am sure he will make some new friends there soon.

Here is a photo of Matthew at his Graduation assembly once he was presented with his certificate. In this photo is his teacher Miss Kongrass and Principal Mr Stephen Green:

Then we had the Graduation dinner which was held at Valley View Restaurant, all the Yr 7 were picked up from the school in a white hummer which was a real treat for them.

Here are some photo’s from the night:

Here we are ready to go to the dinner.

This is the Hummer they got to ride in.

This is Matt with his friend waiting for the Hummer to arrive.

Here are the boys getting in.

This is Matt and his friend Corey inside the hummer.

Matt with his dinner.

and finally at the end of the night a photo with his teacher Miss k. It was a great fun night with lots of memories to treasure.

Well on that note I think I have blabbed on enough, I would like to wish everyone many blessing for 2011!

Happy New Year!!!!

Hi there,

Well I haven’t been up to much papercrafting as late as I have had my hands full with two new additions to our family, gorgeous little  Beagle x Shih-tzu Maltese puppies. They are 5 weeks old, one girl and a boy and very sadly there mummy was hit by a car and died. So now we are there adopted parents, they are so cute we named them Rosie and George.

Here are some photo’s of them:

This photo’s is both of them sitting on there potting training mat, its taking a while for them to get the idea but with some persitance I’m sure it will get easier.

This is Rosie the little girl, she is quite small and very quiet but a real little cutie.

And here is George our little boy.

George is the crazy one full of life and likes to play, he is a lot bigger than Rosie and wants to bite everything including her. The kids are having a ball with him he’s quite hilarious.

Well hopefully I will be back next time to show you some creations unless I get too distracted with these cute little puppies.

Cindy :)

Hi again,

Just a quick post to say I’m glad to be back online, the last couples of weeks have been a bit of a nightmare, I have had some issues with the web hosting I was going through and had to move to a new one.

I am looking forward to getting back to posting again and joining in on some challenges again. I hope to be sharing some of what I have created lately in a few days.

I would just like to say a big  “Thank you” to all the lovely people that send such lovely emails and leave comments and regularly view my blog. I do really appreciate it and feel very encouraged.

Thanks for looking!!!

Cindy :)

Hi Again,

Well it feels like forever ago since I last posted, well I suppose it has. But I finally can say now my studio is finished and now I am able to start creating and having fun again.

Here are some photo’s of my new studio

I have gone with a pink and white theme and I have purchased all my furniture from  my favourite store Ikea.

This is my work table where I do all my scrapbooking and stamping:

This is my computer desk:

This next photo is of the Expedit, I have organised all my paper/Cardstock into the Cropper Hopper Paper Storage, The draws I have filled with a some clear/rubber stamps and the insert storage cubes I have filled with loads of stuff:

Here are all my punches:

This next photo is of this great unit which has 12 draws, I have placed all my die machine on the top and I have filled the draws with cricut cartridges, cuttlebug and bigshot dies, punches, paints, rubons, stamp pads etc……

Here is the draw open filled with punches:

Above this unit I have a shelf which I have filled with baskets and glass Jars filled with ribbon and flowers:

In this photo on the wall is the Making Memories embelishment centre which I love! makes the room look so colourful filled with all the embelishments. Underneath, I have these draws that are filled with of all my Stampin’ Up! stamps.

Last of all against the wall near my comptuter desk I have this shelf which of course is housing more baskets of stuff as well as my sewing machine.

Well there it is! I still have some finishing touches to do like hang some of my artwork on the walls and tidy and sort out the cables around my computer desk. I also have to wait for an electrician to install a new power point under my desk. I’m just glad to be able to get back to doing some stamping and enjoying my hobbie.

Thanks for looking!!!

Hi again,

Well it’s been a while I can’t even tell you were the last 2 months went since I last blogged and it’s even hard to believe that we are now in February. Hoping now the kids a back at school life can resume to normal again, but maybe not in my case.

Over the last few months my husband and I have been doing some alterations to our house which has been quite a challenge. My craft studio is part of the renovation, (which is very exciting for me) but patience is the key word as all my stuff is packed away and not accessably at the moment so I am itching to get back into some stamping agian soon.

In the mean time I would like to show some photo’s of where I started with my Craft space to studio and then soon some pic’s of my nearly new studio.

This first photo goes back about 7 years where all I had was a desk in the corner of our lounge room and a cupboard that my husband built for me.

When I look at this photo I can’t believe how much stuff I have accumualted in 7 years, and here I was only just starting out.

This second photo is of my studio I have now and the one that is being renovated, but this photo was taken about 2 years ago. The view of this room is only half but you can see what I mean when I say I have accumulated alot of stuff.

This room was classed as the formal lounge when our home was built, but when my husband started working from home it became his office until he converted our car port into an office, which then I claimed the room as my studio. Once the renovation is finished this room will join with the office as currently the office is situated outside of our home with no access into the house.

I’m looking forward to posting some photo’s soon of the new room, but it will be a few more weeks yet before it will be finished.

Until next time

Thanks for looking!!!

Hi there,

I was asked by my sons school teacher to help the kids make a Mothers Day gift. She had already bought some cream material roses and asked if I could come up with something using them.

Here is what I came up with:

I got these cute vases from Ikea and tied some Blue Ribbon around them, which the roses sat nicely in. Then I just got the kids to make a simply little card to go with it. I think the kids really enjoyed making them and some of them amazed me with their talent.

Here’s a closer view of the card:

It was a real enjoyable day with the kids, the only thing is that I knew what I was getting for Mothers Day, Oh well!

To all the Mum’s Happy Mothers Day!

Till next time

Hi Again,

Sorry it’s been a few weeks, but my lack of time recently has left my creativity at a stand still. But today I would like to show you this lovely hen that my Mum made me. My Mum is amazing, we saw these similar hens in a gift shop one day when we were shopping which I took a photo of with my phone and from the photo Mum made this gorgeous hen for me.

Here is the side angle:

and a close up of the hens face:

I think she so gorgeous and very sweet of my Mum to make her for me. Hope you like her to.

Hope to be back soon with some of my own creativity soon.

Till next time

I know I should be uploading all my latest creations but I haven’t had a chance to photograph them yet, but I did get a chance to do some photo snapping this evening. The last few evenings we have had a visitor to our backyard and he or she is so cute, a little fox and a friendly one at that so tonight I was ready with my camera and our little friend was happy to pose for the shots.

So here he or she is:

Isn’t he ( well I think it’s a he) so so cute. Anyway I hope to back soon with some projects I have completed.
